BFPTT is a nonprofit organization that brings together community volunteers from civic and school groups, scout troops, church youth groups, business organizations, families and individuals to create semi-customized doll houses for child victims of trauma or abuse to use in the healing process.

These toys allow a child to explore, express and verbalize life traumas or experiences in a safe environment on a time schedule with which they are comfortable.

BFPTT represents a unique opportunity for people to come together to use their time and talents in a way that allows them to grow in confidence and creativity while producing a gift for a child that becomes a crucial tool for healing.

Consider: The process of actually constructing a doll house can be very therapeutic to the volunteers who participate, a great way to decompress from the stresses of daily life on a time schedule that is unique to each volunteer. This project is also a great team-building experience for groups, with many different tasks that include skill sets from beginner to expert.

Methods for selecting a dollhouse to build can include pre-made kits, individual designs, or refurbished doll houses. We can even provide "blueprints" if requested. They don't need to be elaborate but do need to include a minimum of 4 rooms. Groups may choose to furnish the house but this is not a requirement.

(Note: We stock furniture in the 1'=1" scale so please use that as a guide for your selection process.) If you have materials such as furniture, craft items like beads, fabric, etc. and the like that you wish to donate, you may send them to BFPTT, Inc., 890 Memorial Drive S.E., #306, Atlanta, GA 30316 (904) 527-8158
